Excimer Laser Therapy

Excimer is a focused 308 nm UVB laser that treats only the affected patches of skin — no whole-body UV exposure, no booth-style cubicles. For limited-area vitiligo and psoriasis especially, it is one of the most effective and skin-sparing options available.

FAQ

Common questions about Excimer Laser Therapy.

How is this different from a UV chamber?
Chambers expose your whole body to UV. The excimer laser treats only the affected patches — better targeting, much lower lifetime UV exposure, often faster results.
Is it safe long-term?
Because exposure is limited to the lesions, cumulative UV dose is far lower than booth phototherapy. We track your total dose and review safety at each visit.
Will my pigment fully come back?
Vitiligo response varies — facial and trunk patches often respond well; hands, feet, and bony areas respond more slowly. We review honestly at session 12.
