Laser Hair Removal (Primelase)

Primelase combines three laser wavelengths (810 nm, 940 nm and 1060 nm) in one platform — targeting hair at different depths and across a range of skin types. A larger spot size covers full back or both legs in a fraction of the time of older lasers, and the built-in Crystal Freeze cooling tip keeps the skin chilled while the follicle is treated. The longer 1060 nm wavelength handles darker Indian skin tones safely; we calibrate per Fitzpatrick type rather than running one-size-fits-all parameters.

Quick answer
Primelase triple-wavelength diode (810 + 940 + 1060 nm) for hair reduction, with the longer 1060 nm wavelength suited to darker skin. Crystal Freeze contact cooling makes sessions comfortable; large spot size makes them fast. 6–12 sessions, 4–8 weeks apart, then 1–2 maintenance sessions yearly as needed.

Step 02

Sessions

Crystal Freeze contact cooling, calibrated fluence; brief warmth, no "rubber-band snap".

Step 03

Aftercare

Mineral SPF; no waxing or plucking between sessions (shaving is fine).

Step 04

Maintenance

1–2 sessions yearly as needed to hold ~85–90% reduction.

FAQ

Common questions about Laser Hair Removal (Primelase).

Is Primelase better than older diode lasers?
For most patients, yes — bigger spot size means faster sessions, and the built-in cooling makes it markedly more comfortable. The clinical principle is unchanged.
Can it treat all skin and hair types?
Primelase works well across most Indian skin types. For very dark skin we add Nd:YAG to the protocol. Light or grey hair responds poorly to all lasers — we are upfront about that.
Does it really work in summer?
Our machine is designed for all seasons. For best results we advise strict sun protection before and after each session.
